Just a Note . . .

Do hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season and that Santa brought you everything you wanted.

Many thanks to those who participated in the Christmas card exchange.

Many more thanks to those who wished Jack a happy birthday.

January will be a busy month, too, with Jack and Marie's 74th anniversary on the 17th and the 25th anniversary of Jack's passing on the 21st. How difficult and sad it is to realize so much time has passed. Oh, dear.

Che Fong certainly could do that and can you imagine Steve's office without its bookshevles?

And I wholeheartily agree with what you say about real books and paper and pencil. I belong to those people whose finges start to tingle when they are near a bookshelf.

I don't have an e-book and do my shopping list with paper and pencil. And yes - I don't regret my age either.

Yes, a lot of time has passed. Time only goes in one direction. However, I never, ever regret my age. If I were younger, that would mean I wouldn't have watched Hawaii Five-O in its first run and I treasure those memories. Also love the music of the 60s and 70s (and earlier). I'm also very thankful that I got my education with real books and paper and pencil. Typed papers on a black manual typewriter. Che Fong could probably trace me down from the chipped keys, LOL!
