Hokule'a Sets Sail Again

The Hawaiian catamarans, Hokule'a and Hikianalia, received a blessing from school children yesterday for their 43,000 nautical mile, three-year Moananuiākea Voyage. You may recall that, in 2021, Hokulea sailed around the world in what was a first-ever event for a traditional Hawaiian vessel.

Though McGarrett always says there are no coincidences ,only about two weeks ago I read about "Hokule'a" in Sam Low: "Hawaiki Rising" (2013)

("...the saga of an astonishing revival of Hawaiian culture by voyagers who sailed deep into their ancestral pat.")
