"In celebration of next month's 75th birthday of the United States Air Force, OLELO Channel 53 will present the television premiere of my play, "PROPHECY & HONOR: The Court Martial of Billy Mitchell," this Sunday, September 4 at 6 p.m. General Mitchell is regarded as the Father of the U.S. Air Force. His court-martial in 1925 for insubordination (publicly criticizing the nation's top military leaders for their "incompetency, criminal negligence and the almost treasonable administration of the national defense") was the O.J. Simpson trial of its day, drawing that much national attention and media coverage. The archived video that will be televised is a performance at Hawaii Theatre in 2007, presented by the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum as a benefit for the museum.

"The cast includes YOURS TRULY as Billy Mitchell, RICHARD DREYFUSS as Mitchell's civilian defense attorney, GEORGE SEGAL and TERENCE KNAPP as the military prosecuting attorneys, DON STROUD as Mitchell's military defense attorney, DAVID FARMER as the court-martial judge, DEZMOND GILLA as the Pilot/Narrator, and FRANK DE LIMA as the wisecracking defense witness, Congressman Fiorello La Guardia. Also featured in the play are ALLEN COLE, MATTHEW PEDERSEN, TERESA MOORE, BREE BUMATAI, GREG HOWELL, GEORGE O'HANLON, BOB WHITEING, RICO TUDOR and BILL BIGELOW.

"For you folks on the mainland, the program will be also be streamed online at the time it is broadcast at www.olelo.org/53. It will be re-broadcast on Monday, September 5 (Labor Day) at 4 p.m...also Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 8 a.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10 p.m. All times are Hawaii time."
