Okay, then. Let's close this out. Within the quadrangle formed by South King Street, Punchbowl, South Beretania, and Richards Street, we have the Palace, of course. Moving from left to right, around the Palace, we see the Coronation Pavilion, the Iolani Barracks, the State Capitol Building, the State Archives, the Kanaina Building (old Archives building), and the State Public Library.


We know many episodes were filmed in and around the Palace and State Capitol, but did you know the State Archives appeared in an episode? Yes! In "Loose Ends Get Hit" (Season 8), when a gunman went up to a rooftop intending to kill Billy Madrid, but hit McGarrett, instead. The question is how did he reach the roof? Security…

You are correct on both counts, Honu! The Iolani Barracks stands just to the northwest of the Palace. The Coronation Pavilion stands just to the southwest of the Palace. Yes, we will count the Pavilion.

I'olani Barracks - I had to look at a map to get the street boundaries. I know there's a bandstand on the grounds, but I don't think that counts as a building.
