Arizona Memorial Re-Opens

On August 31st, a ceremony was held to celebrate the re-opening of the Arizona Memorial. It was closed 16 months ago after damage was observed by a seaman assigned to one of the tour boats. Some sources say the damage was caused when the USNS Mercy backed into the Memorial on May 27, 2015, while other sources say it was caused by the king tides that occurred in 2017.

The Memorial is now open for regular visitation.
