Scenes of Hawaii

Tracks from Benjamin Dillingham's Oahu Railway

This line, paralleling the Farrington Highway, was washed out by a tsunami in 1946. When this picture was taken (September 2009), work was being done to bring it back. Today, the Hawaiian Railway Society makes excursions runs up the leeward coastline from Ewa.
