Did Jameson's restaurant in Haleiwa give its name to the governor on H50? Will we ever know?

Jameson's by the Sea is gone, now. Another establishment uses the building. In its day, however, Jameson's was a popular place to dine, especially in the evenings, although it was lovely, overlooking the ocean, for luncheons.

I think there's a strong possibility that he could've been if the restaurant was in operation before H50 started in 1968. I love these pics!

I just did a bit of googling and learned that Jameson's by the Sea closed in 2010 after being open for 21 years. That would have them opening in 1989, long after Five-0's run. So, I guess we have our answer. The governor was not named for the restaurant. What a shame!

No, very likely we won't never know. But it's a nice idea nevertheless to think it could be named after the governor.

Of course you're right. I didn't read it properly (again).
