We Remember Jimmy Borges

Photographer unknown

Jimmy, seen here with his wife, Vicki Bergeron Borges, passed away on this date in 2016. He was a good man, kind and generous. I'm so grateful to have known him and still think of him often.

Jimmy appeared in eleven episodes of Hawaii Five-0, perhaps most memorably in "A Capitol Crime" (Season 9), which was set at one of his concerts. He also made memorable appearances in "Loose Ends Get Hit" (Season 8) in which he portrayed Kum Chi, and in "The Bells Toll at Noon" (Season 9) in which he portrayed Tommy Saito.
