There are a couple of photos of the Sears and Roebuck building, which was HPD headquarters during time of Hawaii Five-O. I always thought it was unusual to have an escalator in a police building, like we saw in "Draw Me a Killer." But it makes perfect sense, knowing that it used to be Sears.
There are also a couple of photos of the State Capitol building under construction, and we certainly saw that in the show several times.
Thank you so much for sharing these lovely photos, Honu and H50. I remember very well l the nostalgic Waikiki when watching "From Here to Eternity". But I'm at a loss when it comes to "identify the locations".Sorry.
