Is anyone here a big fan of McMillan & Wife? If you recall, Stewart McMillan (Rock Hudson) was the police commissioner of San Francisco. Sally (Susan Saint James) was his wife. Their nosy housekeeper was Mildred (Nancy Walker). In the commissioner's words, "Everyone's suspect." As often as not, Sally and Mildred were at the top of the commissioner's list, if only for interfering in his investigations.
