As a musician, this episode is difficult for me to watch. And I’m well aware that this is what the writers intended and they meant to push all my buttons. Hutch and Deke, two low-life punks, steal a car and find a priceless Guarnerius violin in the trunk. Only they don’t initially know its value. Their treatment of the prize is purely for shock value. Knowing that doesn’t make it any easier to watch.
The other scene that is even more difficult to watch is Gino Mazzini’s murder. Mr. Mazzini is a gentle, blind violin teacher, who probably makes just enough money to live. His death is another time Hawaii Five-O hits me with a tragic, indirec…

Sorry not much time to contribute much this week w outside obligations but I enjoy the site and these discussions tremendously!

Many thanks to Honu and Katie for participating in the Week 11 challenge!
