Honu wrote . . . "It's been a long time since I've seen The Manchurian Candidate and I should really see it again. I love Frank Sinatra and I remember Khigh Dhiegh being very Wo Fat-like in that movie. Another movie that I like is An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.  Richard Denning plays Deborah Kerr's love interest until she falls in love with Cary Grant's character.  Richard Denning was young and very handsome, even alongside Cary Grant. The last time I saw the movie on TV, my husband came into the room and asked 'Isn't that the governor?' LOL"

Steve's Girl wrote . . . "Interesting comment from Honu. As to her husband asking "Isn't that the governor?" the same thing happened when my mother and I watched "Twice Told Tales," a horror trilogy loosely adapted from three Nathaniel Hawthorne stories. When Richard Denning appeared in "House of the Seven Gables," we cried out in unison, "The governor!"
