Jack's Page on Find-a-Grave
I recently visited Jack's page on Find A Grave (Link: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Lord&GSfn=Jack&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=6904&df=all&) and left flowers for him. While I was there, I read some of the messages left by others. There are so many messages and from so many people, all of whom seem to miss Jack as surely as if he left us only yesterday. And it doesn't stop there. Listen to all of the arrangements that have been made of the theme song, even those featuring a woodwind choir and a Calypso beat. Look at all the clips of favorite scenes from the show and parodies made and posted by fans around the world. Even on the new show, Al Harrington, Jimmy Borges, and other 1.0 people are welcomed warmly. Now, a 1.0 character is being brought back, along with the actor who portrayed him in 1977. It's all in homage to you, Jack. How I wish you were here to enjoy this praise, which should have been bestowed upon you while you were alive.

You may remember that, when Elvis was in Honolulu for the concert, he dropped by to see Jack and Marie. No, they had not met before, but Elvis was a big fan of Jack and Hawaii Five-0. He invited them to the concert. Read more about it on Remembering Jack Lord / Elvis : Fan Turned Friend.
